David Kayrouz

David Kayrouz has been a creator and innovator in arts and business for many years.

Initially trained as an engineer he established and developed a successful furniture manufacturing company. He led his company for 15 years before selling it, having established strong export and domestic markets.

He has been passionately immersed in arts for 20 years, mainly as a visual artist but also as a violinist with a deep love of music.

His paintings and portraits are in private collections in New Zealand, Europe and America. He is a keen chamber musician and plays for several orchestras.

He has taught both painting and music and has been enthusiastically involved in arts administration and project work.

David has travelled widely, and has lived and worked in England, France and Germany. As a yachtsman he holds a passion for the sea, which he shares with his wife Susanne, and their three children.
