SURFACING CREATIVE BEHAVIOUR
Aim: During these four workshops you and your team will explore your creative intelligence and learn how to apply the lessons of art to other situations. Through experience and by learning to understand the creative cycle you will find out why creative behaviour is so often undeveloped, or even strangled.
Method: Through practical exercises, and learning how to break the creative cycle down into its component forces, you will develop an understanding of what you need to think and work creatively.
Session one: Foundation
In this session you will complete several exercises in painting and drawing and learn how our perceptions inform us. Once you are aware of this, you can respond differently.
• Introduction
• Experience and Reflection
• Activation of Potential
Session two: The Prerequisites
In this session, you will learn about the ways we ask questions and then examine how you take in the answers. With further exercises you will discover what you need to work creatively.
• Essential prerequisites for creative work
• Curiosity and Inspiration
• Sensing possibilities and answers
Session three: The Creative Cycle
By now, you will be ready for some deeper insights into what you have already covered. The group will then deal with some creative challenges.
• The Creative Inner Child
• The Cycle of Creativity
• Generating Innovation Possibilities
Session four: Application
Using what we experienced and learned in previous sessions we explore how we work personally and within the dynamics of group work.
• Personal Pathways
• Working as a group
• Capturing creativity
